Cruisy
Very gentle terrain with forgiving width and run-outs.

We show the published piste grade and its official source. We assess how a run may feel separately. A blue line alone is never enough to call it gentle—or assign a number.
A current operator or tourist-office piste map or piste list must identify the exact route and grade. We inspect the colour or explicit grade field, not just a name extracted from a PDF. Numbered sections and variants are named explicitly; an area, lift or multi-piste journey does not receive one piste grade.
A blue enters the starter shortlist only when the resort explicitly recommends that exact piste for beginner or gentler skiing. This is a sourced recommendation, not a calibrated score, a ranking or a promise that every visitor will feel comfortable.
The 1–5 scale below describes the factors we want to assess consistently: steepest sections, width, exposure, run-outs, access and return. The former imported numerical ratings were not supported by that assessment and have been withdrawn. Current European profiles show “Comfort: not yet rated”.
Community reports retain the contributor’s own 1–5 experience, ability, date and conditions. They are not official grades and are not presented as a calibrated community average.
Very gentle terrain with forgiving width and run-outs.
A confidence-building blue with no substantial unresolved surprises.
Intermediate terrain requiring comfortable linked turns.
Steeper, narrower or more exposed sections that merit explicit explanation.
A demanding official blue that may intimidate a lower intermediate.
This is a desk review of published sources, not an on-snow inspection or a live conditions service. We use the latest official map we can inspect and label its edition; some resorts still link 2025–26 maps ahead of winter 2026–27.
Videos are checked against their creator’s title, description and route chapters. Mixed-terrain journeys are labelled as overviews, mismatches are removed, and embedding restrictions are respected. We do not claim to have independently surveyed the footage or verified today’s route from an old video.
When a route, grade or location cannot be resolved, its earlier comfort claim is withdrawn. The original URL remains available with the corrected status and sources.
