What we store

When you sign in with ChatGPT, BlueRuns receives a site-specific account ID and email address. We store these to associate your profile, saved/skied lists and contributions with your account. We also store the public name, profile photograph, bio, location and ability information you choose.

What other visitors see

Your public profile displays your chosen name, photograph, bio, location and ability. Approved contributions display that profile, text, photographs, uploaded or linked videos and any sport, conditions or date you supplied. Your email, saved runs and pending submissions are not public. Moderators can review submitted content.

Uploaded media and external services

Uploaded photographs and videos are stored by BlueRuns for review and publication. Pending contribution media can be viewed by its owner and moderators; approved contribution media is public. Profile photographs are public when saved. Media can contain embedded metadata; remove sensitive metadata before uploading. Direct video playback does not require a YouTube or Vimeo account. YouTube thumbnails load from YouTube, and the video player loads when you press play. Hotel and video links take you to services with their own privacy policies. This version does not add advertising or analytics trackers.

Control and retention

You can edit your public name, photograph, bio, location and ability, remove saved/skied entries, and withdraw contributions in your profile. Withdrawn content is hidden from the public but retained for moderation and abuse prevention. For an account-data deletion request, use the private account-data request form; the site operator will handle it. Never include passwords or payment details.

Accommodation links

Accommodation searches currently use ordinary outbound links. If affiliate tracking is activated, the relevant pages will disclose that BlueRuns may earn a commission. We do not process hotel bookings or payments.
