Think through the whole day.

Choose a named piste, check how you’ll reach it, and plan the way back. Official blue grades help identify the run; your confidence and the day’s conditions matter too.

Pistes to get to know

1 (Nätschen–Andermatt /Passstrasse)Official blue · comfort unassessed →

Official grades are separate from comfort. Sources checked 19 October 2026; check current maps, closures and conditions before skiing.

11 (Nätschen–Andermatt /Passstrasse)

Official blue

Andermatt-Sedrun

The official panorama shows blue piste 1 following the winding road descent between Nätschen and Andermatt.

The old 7 km length and 900 m vertical were not verified. The map places Nätschen at 1842 m and Andermatt at 1444 m, so the claimed vertical was incorrect.

Official grade: BlueComfort: not yet rated
Sources & review details

The official grade alone does not establish how comfortable this piste will feel to a less confident skier.

These are retained to explain earlier listings, preserve links and distinguish individual pistes from broad areas. They are not additional local blue recommendations.

2Nätschen–Gütsch sector

Area / multi-piste route

Andermatt-Sedrun

Nätschen is a ski sector with a dedicated beginner park; the slopes above it have several official grades.

The general area name does not identify a single blue run. Use the exact numbered piste and keep the beginner park separate from the wider mountain.

4Sedrun /Dieni sector

Area / multi-piste route

Andermatt-Sedrun

Sedrun is an area containing blue, red and black pistes, not one blue run.

5Oberalppass sector

Area / multi-piste route

Andermatt-Sedrun

The official map shows red and black pistes around the Oberalp/Calmut side as well as blue routes elsewhere in the linked network.

The old picture of a separate uniformly gentle plateau ski area was inaccurate. Confirm the exact descent and connection before planning a blue-only day.

6Gemsstock /Gurschen sector

Mixed grades · grade corrected

Andermatt-Sedrun

The summit descents are shown red 70 and black 71; several blue pistes are confined to the Gurschen area below. There is no single mapped blue called Gemsstock North Face.

The old title could lead a blue-run skier onto summit terrain of a different grade. It has been withdrawn as a blue recommendation.

Andermatt-Sedrun
